Default Terrain Templates

This Terrain Template is usable for both Tiberian Sun, and Yuri's Revenge.

This is just the first release and there will be more templates to be released. If there is anyone who has suggestions and wants for different templates, let me know and I will do my best to get some work done on them and prep them all for a release .

Templates included:
Front Facing Cliffs (C01-C22)
Cliff Ramps (R01-R10)
Slopes (All Directions)

All files included are in .OBJ Format and are usable with any 3D application capable of importing the file type (typically all of them). There may need to be resizing when dealing with these templates. All templates are to scale with each other and ready to have terrain work be done with them!

Disclaimer:
This Terrain Template is only to be downloaded here, at www.freedomstudios.net. No other place has permission to host these files without my given, written permission. There is no need to give any thanks of any kind if you are using these templates.

I hope you all enjoy this, and I hope it can be put to good use as well. Enjoy!

Welcome to the fold, DaTS.

Ready to see what Sane's gonna post next. I have a slight idea.

I'm not entirely sure what will be put up here next, but like I said: if there are any suggestions for what people want for help for TS and YR regarding anything, post it all here. I will be attempting to making this a really nice modding resource area for anyone interested in modding these games.

Okay, when using Donut's render template these things are tiny. Which template should I be using?

well i did mention they should be rescaled to the desired scale. but when you find the perfect scale for your 3D application, just remember that all the pieces are to scale with each other, so you can apply the same scaling. unfortunately every 3D application utilizes their own unit size. the scale i use for each cell is 3 softimage units x 3 softimage units. i am not too entirely sure if there is a conversion chart somewhere on the net, but that could be my next thing to do with this terrain set is make a 3ds ready set.

alternatively, if you're using Cinema 4D for your renders, do know that when you import these objects, you can set the importing scale to 66.625 in Centimeters, and it should import it at Cinema 4D's native cell size.
